Resurrection Ferns
Resurrection ferns symbolize JOY and GRACE to Lori. These little wonders, native to South Carolina and found on the branches of live oaks, have an incredible story. They can survive for up to 100 years without water and come back to life with the rain, bursting into vibrant green after long quiet spells. They are a beautiful reminder of life’s quiet changing seasons and how we can create and weave our own beautiful story.
Lori began observing these quiet wonders on long morning walks and would ponder their meaning with curiosity. After many iterations, she arrived at her own interpretation of the Resurrection fern she loves to create... an expression of joyful expectation.
Lori’s paintings, rooted in a sense of peace, explore themes of connection, renewal, and presence.

Lowcountry Marsh Scenes
Lori has always been inspired by the breathtaking views of the Lowcountry; especially the serene marshes, which change constantly with the ebb and flow of the tides. She loves how the delicate grass peaks out ever so slightly through the water and the changing colors of the sunset reflect a beauty like no other. Lori’s natural surroundings are truly a source of wonder and inspiration.
