Meet Lori Bowen
Lori was born and raised in the Lowcountry of South Carolina and currently lives in the charming town of Bluffton. She draws inspiration from the region’s serene marshes and breathtaking views.
Growing up in a region rich with natural beauty, Lori was immersed in the landscapes that now fuel her creativity.
Her time at the College of Charleston further shaped her appreciation for the world around her, though it was not until 2022 that she fully embraced painting. A profound awareness of the passing of time and the seasons of life inspired her to turn to art as a means of reflection and renewal, ultimately leading her to transition from a career in teaching to pursuing art full-time.
Through her art, Lori invites others to slow down, savor the moment, and find joy in their own personal journey, recognizing that each season of life holds hope and beauty.

Technique:
Lori’s paintings reflect her intuitive approach to capturing the world around her through subtle colors and fluid brushstrokes. Using acrylics and oils, Lori’s process involves a delicate interplay of soft hues. Each painting, created with care and intention, is as unique as the individual journey it reflects, inviting collectors to connect with life’s wonder and nature’s quiet beauty.
